Shaped by the Landscape
From the beginning, Eréma was conceived in conversation with Milos.
Volcanic earth, mineral textures, shifting light, and the openness of the Aegean. The result is a place
that feels rooted in its surroundings, where architecture follows the rhythm of the landscape.
A Natural Sense of Belonging
As you move through Eréma, stone walls echo the island's terrain. Curved forms mirror the contours of the landscape.
Sunlight enters naturally throughout the day, changing the atmosphere from morning to evening.
The architecture by Aristides Dallas Architects and Micromega Architecture & Strategies, together with the interiors
by Athens-based ID Laboratorium, was conceived in close dialogue with Milos itself. Drawing from the island's
mineral character through stone, marble, and softened earth tones, the spaces feel calm, grounded, and naturally
connected to their surroundings.
Nothing feels imposed. Everything feels connected.

Contemporary Cycladic Living
The guest rooms were conceived as contemporary interpretations of Cycladic living, where simplicity, comfort, and connection to place become the defining design principles. Most of the furniture and interior elements were custom-designed specifically for the project, with forms inspired by the softness of the island landscape, traditional craftsmanship, and the timeless geometry of Cycladic architecture. Gentle curves, tactile surfaces, and natural materials create a subtle yet distinctive character throughout the interiors.
Crafted with a Sense of Place
Materiality and craftsmanship play a central role in shaping the guest experience. Many of these bespoke pieces were brought to life by local craftsmen, whose skill, precision, and dedication ensured that every detail was executed exactly as envisioned. Their contribution was fundamental in translating the design intent into authentic, handcrafted objects that embody the same care and attention invested in the architecture of the hotel itself. The bathrooms are clad in Naxian marble, while soft linen textiles, warm timber details, natural stone surfaces, and a palette inspired by sand, rock, and sea contribute to an atmosphere of understated luxury.
Open to the Elements
At Eréma, openness is both a design principle and a way of living. Expansive terraces, private pools, and uninterrupted views create a constant connection to sea, sky, and landscape. Time moves more slowly.
Whether you are reading in the shade, stepping into your pool, or watching the light change across the coastline, the natural world is always present.

The palette draws directly from Milos
Volcanic stone. Soft earth tones. Textured surfaces. Natural materials chosen for their honesty and restraint.
Each element contributes to a feeling of calm, creating spaces that feel warm, grounded, and quietly contemporary.
